JEREMY HALE

Jeremy Hale’s movement background includes modern dance, yoga, tai chi, capoeira, parkour and rock climbing. He received a BA in 2006 from the Department of World Arts & Cultures/Dance, UCLA. Jeremy was a founding member of Ledges and Bones: dance project, performing with the company from 2005-2007, and has danced with Yu Dance Theater since 2006. Jeremy has performed throughout Southern California, as well as Seattle, New York City and Beijing. His performance credits include: Nugent Dance Theater, Helios Dance Theater, Cabiri Aerial Dance Troupe, IN/EX Dance Project, Daara Dance, DreamDance, as well as Jerome Bel’s “The Show Must Go On” project at UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance. Jeremy has taught workshops and master classes at University of California Los Angeles, University of the Philippines (Manila), Cabiri Performance Troupe (Seattle), Beijing Modern Dance Festival (China), Frontier Danceland (Singapore), T.H.E. Dance Company (Singapore), Y-Space (Hong Kong), Yoga Tree (Thailand), Mont Kiara school (Malaysia), Pappa Tarahumara School (Tokyo), Gongju University (South Korea), and Soonchunyang University (South Korea). He has also presented at the Seoul International Improvisational Dance Festival (South Korea).
